GREENWOOD, Indiana -- Seniors Austin Baker and Taylor Arbogast added to their already illustrious senior seasons on Thursday afternoon, by being named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Teams selected by CoSIDA.
Baker, a native of Green Springs, Ohio and an accounting major, earned First Team honors in District 7. He recently finished the 2018 season leading the nation in yards per punt. Baker has twice earned OAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors this season. In addition to his weekly honors, he also broke a NCAA Division III record with a 95-yard punt at John Carroll.
Arbogast, a native of New Riegel, Ohio and a Communications major, was selected to the District 7 Second Team. She led the conference in total digs and digs per set en route to being tabbed OAC Libero of the Year and All-OAC Second Team.
Baker becomes the 13th Heidelberg football player to earn this honor, while Arbogast becomes the 14th player to be selected for the Heidelberg volleyball program.
To be eligible to be named Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA.
