I chose to attend Heidelberg because: The campus felt like a home away from home.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: My team has become my second family.

Heidelberg is unique because: Your professors and classmates get to know you on a personal level.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: The campus was so welcoming and the education program focuses so much on the students' needs.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: You get to play a sport you love, but also stay active in different clubs and sports too. You get to build a second family and many friendships that will last a lifetime all while learning life skills that will help further your future.

Heidelberg is unique because: It is a place that provides many opportunities through academics, sports, and even the community.

My career goal is: To become a teacher and a coach, while eventually working as an athletic director in the future.

While at Heidelberg: I studied abroad my sophomore year with the opportunity to teach the young, low income students! I have experience new sports like lacrosse and cheerleading and I have took on many roles in groups such as HSEA, Kappa Delta Pi and HUCTM. Finally, I've joined the amazing sorority of Delta Sigma Chi and a corollary of Nu Sigma Alpha.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: The volleyball program allowed me to continue playing the sport I love, have the opportunity to study Environmental Science with inspiring and motivational professors, and have the opportunity to work with the National Center for Water Quality Research, allowing me to develop connections and valuable research experience.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Being able to meet lifelong best friends, learn more about life skills, and learning to work towards what I want to achieve. The coaches understand the balance between academics and athletics, helping us push towards our full potential in both.

Heidelberg is unique because: We have the HYPE program which allows for influential and inspiring speaker to come in and speak to the students and faculty about valuable life skills.

My career goal is: Work in the National Park Service and speak to people from all around the world. I would love to spread the news about how important our parks are and to encourage people to explore and adventure the world!

While at Heidelberg: I have gone to Belize, in Central America for a Spring Break trip through a course Caribbean Biogeography. On this trip I was able to fulfill my lifelong dream of Scuba Diving through a barrier reef and swim with sea turtles, sting rays, sharks, and hundreds of other fish! I also went on another Spring Break trip to Arizona, Texas and New Mexico for a course called Regional Field Geology to learn about the geology of the Southwest United States. On this trip, I was able to go hiking up a mountain that reaches a height of ~ 8,000 ft, visit the old copper mines, visit two National Monuments and two National Parks. This upcoming summer (summer of 2019) I will be going to Alaska to work at the Alaska SeaLife Center and Kenai Fjords National Park doing interpretation. This is an experience I have been dreaming about since freshman year. This internship will allow me to get better experience with communication with people from different areas of the world and be immersed in a different culture. To top it off, I will be working directly with the National Park Service! To bring my Heidelberg experience to a great ending, next summer (Summer of 2020) I will be going to New Zealand with my professor and four other students. On this trip, we will be backpacking the mountains of New Zealand and be camping in the wilderness. Needless to say, I have lived an adventurous life since I've been at Heidelberg!

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: I chose Heidelberg because my older brother was currently attending Tiffin University, so I thought it would be cool to be in the same city as him. I also wanted to continue my athletic career.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Being able to go out and compete everyday. I'm thankful that I get the opportunity to play the sport I love with a lot of great guys that I have gotten very close with through my time here at Heidelberg.

Heidelberg is unique because: Heidelberg is unique because it gives me the opportunity to get involved with activities that I'm passionate about. I am able to attend Cru, which is a Christian ministry on campus, I am able to play a sport, and I am able to get involved with Tiffin University students as well. Heidelberg has given me a lot of awesome opportunities that I truly don't believe I would get at another university.

My career goal is: My career goal is to open up my own Christian Counseling Practice and be able to help people get through any problems or difficulties that come upon them in their life, all the while sharing the love of Christ with them.

While at Heidelberg: I have been able to attend the Cru Winter Conference three times during my time at Heidelberg. Cru Winter Conference is a 4 day conference at the J.W Marriott in downtown Indianapolis. There is about 2,000 other college students that come from all over the Midwest and gather in a huge conference room at the hotel and listen to some awesome speakers and have some sweet moments of worship.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: The people and the campus are both friendly and welcoming!

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Creating a bond with your coaches and teammates! It gives you the chance to make lifelong friendships.

Heidelberg is unique because: All of the faculty and staff care about your future and help you prepare in the best possible way.

My career goal is: To become an athletic director at either a high school or college. I will work with a professional sports organization's front office before that.

While at Heidelberg: During my time at berg I was able to participate in an internship with the Akron Rubberducks, the AA baseball team for the Cleveland Indians! I was a merchandise intern. During this experience I gained very valuable skills that will help me with my future career! I was able to obtain sales experience, customer service, purchase ordering, meeting with company representatives to talk about new products, and much more!

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: I chose to attend Heidelberg because of the atmosphere and the home-like feeling. Also because the professors truly care about the students and what them to be successful.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Being a part of a team that is more like family. Having the opportunity to get to know a group of people who will not only become friends but also a group who you can learn from and gain new experiences everyday.

Heidelberg is unique because: Heidelberg is unique because it allows the students to be involved in anything they want. Heidelberg offers opportunities that allow you to grow on a personal level and in the workforce.

My career goal is: My career goal is to become an event planner while also owning my own business. Also, I have a goal of writing articles for magazines.

While at Heidelberg: I was fortunate to have the opportunity of moving to Baltimore Maryland to partake in an internship with a magazine. There, I was able to gain experience in communication and the workforce through writing articles and working with a wide variety of people. I was able to travel and work with fashion shows, concert events, writing reviews for anything you can think of. Also, I was able to learn more about the field I want to go into and more about who I am as an individual.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Staying busy and having teammates that become friends, which become your family.

Heidelberg is unique because: It is a small school, everyone knows who you are, and you can get the help you need more easily.

My career goal is: To trade stock options.

While at Heidelberg: I studied abroad in London and visited somewhere around 10 countries.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: Heidelberg feels like a second home. Everyone was so nice and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. My golf coach who recruited me also had a big part in my decision to come here.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Having a community to fall back on. We are one big family and yes sports are important, but we make sure that academics are still at the top of our list.

Heidelberg is unique because: Everyone supports each other no matter what team you are on and how many titles you have.

My career goal is: Become a healthcare administrator in either a hospital or nursing home.

While at Heidelberg: Studied Abroad at the University of Aberdeen Fall 2018, currently have an internship at Saint Francis Senior Home shadowing the Executive Director, and I'm the President of Maids of Athena Chapter 274 Elpitha.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: Of the welcoming atmosphere and beautiful campus.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: The unity that all of the athletes on this campus have.

Heidelberg is unique because: There is always something to get involved in, athletic or not.

My career goal is: To become a wildlife conservationist.

While at Heidelberg: I have traveled to Iceland with Dr. Amy Berger and Dr. Marc O'Reilly to study the interesting geology of the second largest island in Europe. I learned all about the interesting culture of the Icelandic people and how beautiful the country is. I also received an REU (research experience for undergraduates) at Miami of Ohio this summer.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: It felt like home to me and everyone was so welcoming when I was walking on campus.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: I have met some of my best friends while playing the sport I love.

Heidelberg is unique because: Every building has their own story.

My career goal is: To become a detective.

While at Heidelberg: I currently have been working with the Seneca Drug Task Force. Everything is hands on, I have written reports, went on buys, went on search warrants, went through the evidence room, went through data, and scanned files. I really enjoy my internship with them, the guys make it fun and joke around a lot, but they know when it is time to get serious.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: My first visit felt like home.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Having fun with my friends and getting to represent my school in competition.

Heidelberg is unique because: I have the opportunity to get my MBA in a year for free.

My career goal is: Work in the sports marketing industry/media relations.

While at Heidelberg: I was a marketing intern at the Tiffin-Seneca United Way, where I received hands on experience working with a non-profit.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: The campus is small, beautiful, and it gives me the feeling as if I'm back in my hometown. The people are great and very friendly and always willing to help.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Being part of a team and program that cares about you as individuals and helps you grow as an athlete.

Heidelberg is unique because: Of its size. Because Heidelberg is smaller, everyone knows just about everyone which means there are a lot of students out supporting other teams.

My career goal is: To graduate with a math and education degree where I could either teach or work towards engineering.

While at Heidelberg: While at Heidelberg, I have been able to travel to Amsterdam with the Science of Art class that was offered in spring of 2018. In Amsterdam, we explored many art museums and learned about the restoration and conservation of very old art pieces. Also during the summer of 2018, I traveled to London, Paris, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. While in Wales, I learned about my family history and where my ancestors came from. Finally, this summer, I have a teaching internship lined up at the number 2 boarding school in the nation, Andover Phillips Academy. During this internship I will be a teacher's assistant in the math classroom, resident assistant in the dormitory, chaperone 3 field trips, and teach a lifetime activity in the afternoons.

I chose to attend Heidelberg because: I knew that the connections and opportunities I would make here would set me up for success in my future.

The best part about playing a sport at Heidelberg is: Having a group of people I can call my second family. I have made friends and memories throughout my years that are going to stick with me for the rest of my life.

Heidelberg is unique because: No matter where you go in the world, there seems to always be someone there that went to Heidelberg, knew/knows someone that goes to Heidelberg, or has been to Heidelberg and loves it. It's crazy to think about given the small number of students. It is just another way I have gotten to connect with the people here at the Berg.

My career goal is: Never have go to "work" a day in my life. I hope to have a career that will never feel like "work" because I am doing what I love, and one that will also allow me to have a family.

While at Heidelberg: I have had the opportunity to host the Siggy Awards, which happens once a year to celebrate the athletes and their accomplishments.
