Tyler Hunter chosen as Academic All-District

AUSTIN, Texas -- Offensive lineman Tyler Hunter has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, as announced on Thursday. This is the senior's second time being chosen to the Academic All-District team.

A health science major, Hunter becomes the 12th Heidelberg football player to earn the honor and just the fourth two-time recipient (Derrick Arbogast, Jeff Stiffler, Craig Sykes).

Hunter played a key role on the offensive line throughout his career at the Berg. He has shifted to a number of positions on the line and has proved he's successful at each one.

The Tipp City native has 28 consecutive starts, dating back to 2017.

To be eligible to be named Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA.
