WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Heidelberg University men's golf team took part in the OAC Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday at Little Turtle Golf Club. The Student Princes finshed up in 8th place as a team, totaling 696 strokes over the two-day event.
Jack Eifel had a solid weekend on the course for the Berg, starting off the tournament with a 79 on Sunday, which put him in a tie for 18th place overall. On Monday, the junior improved by one stroke, shooting a 78 for a two-day total of 157, which placed him in a tie for 12th place.
Henry Bourne was the second-place golfer on the team for HU, carding a two-day total of 177 to finish in a tie for 44th place. Kurtis Lazur was not far behind Bourne, shooting a 90 on both days to finish in a tie for 47th overall.
Heidelberg will be back on the course on Friday, April 17th when they travel to the Wooster Country Club for the Nye Intercollegiate.
