Men's golf competes at Kyle Ryman Memorial

TIFFIN -- Competing in a field primarily composed of Division II opponents, the Heidelberg University men's golf team took home 16th place this weekend at the Kyle Ryman Memorial. In the 54-hole tournament, the team shot a 928.

Freshman Brock Jamison led the Berg carding a 77-76-72 -- 225. Next for HU was Kurtiz Lazur who shot a 79-77-78 -- 234. Andrew Sikorski (81-74-80 -- 235) and Bryce Creamer (74-84-79 -- 237) were next for the Student Princes. Joey Kurtz rounded out the team with a score of 82-81-83 -- 246.

Jake Belford, Bryan Kennedy, and Chandler Kraft all competed as individuals for Heidelberg. Belford turned in a score of 78-78-79 -- 235. Kennedy finished the weekend with a 82-79-77 -- 238 and Kraft scored a 89-82-78 -- 249.

HU is back on the course October 14-15 at the Muskingum Invitational. The tournament will be held at Eagle Sticks Golf Course in Zanesville.
