Men's golf begins spring slate

MARIETTA, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's golf team took home a fifth place finish at their first tournament of the spring. The Berg shot a 328 on the day.

Bryce Creamer and Brian Kennedy paced the Student Princes, each shooting an 81, tied for 18th place.

With a score of 82, Kurtis Lazur was next for the Berg. Andrew Sikorski shot an 84, and Aaron Mitchell rounded out the team, shooting a 90.

Competing as an individual, Blake Kaffenbarger carded an 86.

Heidelberg will return to action on Friday at the OAC Spring Invitational, hosted by Otterbein University.
