These two squads are familiar with each other, as they met earlier this year on September 7th at Hidden Valley Soccer Complex. In that match, the 4th-ranked Lords came out victorious with a 2-1 win. The Student Princes fell behind by two goals in the second half and were forced to play with just 10 men, as Kyle Boone received two yellow cards, but the Berg was able to pull within one when Chris Koczak scored in the 77th minute. It was too little, too late, however, as Heidelberg was unable to mount a shorthanded comeback.
