Men's Soccer battle to scoreless draw

WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania – Despite controlling much of the possession, the Heidelberg University men's soccer team could not find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw at Washington & Jefferson on Saturday. Heidelberg outshot the Presidents 18-9, including a 10-4 edge in shots on goal.

Chris Koczak led the Student Princes (2-4-3) with four shots and Isaac Bwayo recorded three, with both players getting two shots on goal. Porus Shroff added two shots.

Goalkeeper Jake Kress kept a clean sheet, the first of his collegiate career.

Heidelberg hosts No. 9 Denison on Wednesday. Kickoff from the Hidden Valley Soccer Complex begins at 4 p.m.
