AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Two members of the Heidelberg University men's soccer team have been named to All-OAC teams, as announced on Friday. Sophomore Rodrigo Meza earned second team honors, while junior Kiki Alvarado was an honorable mention selection.
Meza was a prominent part of the Berg's final third this season, scoring four goals and added two assists. His biggest game came against Kenyon, where Meza scored twice -- including the game winner in double overtime.
Alvarado, receiving his second career all-conference honor, was a crucial part of Heidelberg's midfield. The junior captain recorded eight assists on the year, three of which were part of a win over Wilmington.
Meza, Alvarado, and the rest of the men's soccer team finished the season with a 11-5-1 record. The team earned the No. 6 seed in the OAC Tournament, before falling to No. 3 Capital University.
