BEREA -- Though neither side scored, the men's soccer teams from Heidelberg University and Baldwin Wallace University put on an entertaining show at a windy Finnie Stadium on Wednesday. Both sides squandered chances late in the 0-0 draw.

Heidelberg moved to 5-5-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets are 6-6-2, 1-2-1.

Though BW outshot Heidelberg, 23-12, many of the Yellow Jackets looks came from distance and were either off target, or easily swallowed up by HU goalkeeper Jake Kress. Kress made a number of critical saves, including a pair of leaping saves in overtime. He tallied nine saves officially.

BW keeper Patrick Mehal was only forced to make one save in the shutout. Mehul was rescued by the post at least once.

Heidelberg had 11 corner kicks, and nearly converted one in the final seconds of regulation. Sebastian Salazar's cross to the back post found the head of Simon Joseph, but ricocheted wide right.

The Student Princes host Otterbein (5-5, 2-2) on Saturday. Action at the Hidden Valley Soccer Complex will begin at 2 p.m.
