Men's tennis plowed by Yeomen

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Heidelberg University men's tennis team took on the Yeomen of Oberlin in their final match before traveling south to Hilton Head, S.C. The Yeomen swept the Student Princes, 9-0, to give the Berg men their second loss of the year.

Senior Zach Schwenning's, 6-2; 6-4, defeat in the number one match was the closest Berg defeat. The senior will look to turn it around in Hilton Head, S.C. after starting his final campaign, 1-5.

Despite his, 6-1; 6-0, loss to the Yeomen, Heidelberg's number three, Ben Moore, continues to lead the Berg men in 2013-14. The freshman holds a record of 3-3 heading into their annual spring trip.

The Berg men move to 1-2 in 2013-14 after dropping the Bluffton Beavers back in September and losin to Adrian College and Oberlin.

The Student Princes will pack their bags and travel to Hilton Head, S.C. on March, 10 for their annual spring trip. The Berg men will play five teams in five days before returning home to begin Ohio Athletic Conference action.
