Track shines at Toledo

TOLEDO -- The Heidelberg University men's and women's track teams had a good weekend at the Toledo Invite. Below is a listing of top-three finishers for the Berg.

Women's 400m Dash: With a time of 58.47, Sarah Hunter won the event.

Women's 4x100m Relay: The team of McKenzie Biniker, Bethany Beaver, Kelsey Grove, and Michaela Slone finished first with a time of 49.06.

Men's High Jump: Sophomore Wes Fritz won the event, clearing 1.95 meters.

Men's Hammer Throw: Tristen Durr finished first with a throw of 56.98 meters. He is now ranked eighth in the nation in the event.

Men's 800m Run: Jacob Berryman took second place with a time of 2:00.02.

Men's 400m Dash: Heidelberg finished 2-3-4 in the event. Jerrod Lyon took second with a time of 49.52 while Dan Stoll (49.58) and Kenny Beucler (50.14) finished third and fourth.

Women's High Jump: Olivia Hipp finished third, clearing 1.55 meters.

The teams are back in action next weekend at the Dr. Keeler Invite at North Central (Ill.).
