Career Synopsis

  • The 2018-19 season is Yoder's fifth as the head men's and women's track & field coach and his fifth season as a member of the coaching staff

2017-18

  • Led men's team to a fifth place finish and the women's team to a sixth place finish at the OAC outdoor championships
  • Mentored 17 athletes to Academic All-OAC Honors
  • Guided Rachel House to Outdoor Nationals
  • Mentored six All-Region athletes

2016-17

  • Led the men's team to a fifth place and women's team to a seventh place finish at the OAC indoor championships
  • Mentored 4 athletes to nationals
  • Guided 20 athletes to Academic All-OAC Honors
  • Helped Tristan Durr to All-American honors

2015-16

  • Led the men's team to a fith place OAC finish in indoor and a sixth place finish at the outdoor championships
  • Coached the women's team to a sixth place finish in both the indoor and outdoor OAC championships
  • Mentored Madison Haasz, who earned three All-American finishes on the year (indoor & outdoor shot put, hammer throw)

2014-15

  • Guided the women's team to a a fifth place finish in indoor and sixth place finish in outdoor in conference
  • Helped the men's team improve to fifth place at both the indoor and outdoor OAC Championships
  • Oversaw the development of All-American throwers Madison Haasz and Gage Falcone

2012-2014

  • Served as a graduate assistant, working primarily with jumps, long sprints and hurdles
  • Mentored Nate Davis to national high jump titles at the 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Division III Track & Field Championships
  • Coached Marian Bevington to an All-American finish in the 2013 outdoor long jump and Josh Lynch to All-American finishes in the triple jump in 2012 and 2014.

  • Earned NCAA All-American status four times
  • Claimed eight OAC titles
  • Member of the 2010 OAC Outdoor Track Champion team
