Cross country competes at All-Ohio

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- On a rainy afternoon, the Heidelberg University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the All-Ohio Meet. The men's team finished 15th out of the Division III schools while the women finished 16th.

Sophomore Devon Jester paced the men's team with a time of 28:22.8. Next for the Berg was Dakota Freeman (29:16.5) and Andrew Symonds (29:28.2). Tim Jasper ran a 30:08.6 while Kyle Nash was behind him with a time of 30:30.7 5. Aaron Hellman and Sean Humphreys rounded out the HU team with times of 30:54.7 and 30:55.9 .

On the women's side, Courtney-Hughes Ksenich led the way with a time of 25:32.2 . Jessica Sucheck was next for HU with a time of 26:35.6. Alexandra Chakov finished next with a time of 27:00.3. Taylor Rodriguez (27:51.0 ) and Megan Lefeld (29:42.8) rounded out the women's team.

The men's and women's teams are back in action tomorrow for the NCAA DIII Pre-National Meet in Louisville, Ky.
