MARIETTA, Ohio -- Turnovers and cold shooting hurt the Heidelberg University women's basketball team in a 98-64 loss at No. 23 Marietta College on Saturday.

Alyssa Riley finished with a team-high 18 points off the bench for the Student Princes. Aianna Wilson scored 12 points while Megan Siesel and Brittanie Ulmer added 10 points each.

After Ulmer hit a triple to put the Student Princes ahead 7-4, the Pioneers closed out the quarter on a 14-4 run, forcing six turnovers throughout the stretch.

Heidelberg clawed their way back to take a slim 27-26 lead. Three straight threes -- two off the hand of Riley -- helped HU close the gap and eventually take the lead.

The lead was short-lived, as the Pioneers, led by Brooke Borich, took a 42-35 lead into halftime. Borich finished with a game-high 21 points.

In the third quarter, MC went back up by double digits. A triple from Shay Lett in the final seconds of the period inflated the Pioneer lead to 71-49, a comfortable lead they held for the remainder of the game.
