Both players were tabbed as honorable mention selections. Crawford's award is her second straight honorable mention accolade from the conference office.
Crawford and Riley were instrumental pieces to the Student Princes' vast improvement from a season ago. The pair led the Berg to a five game upgrade from 2017-18, good for a 9-16 overall record.
Riley, a senior native of North Ridgeville, Ohio, started all 25 games for the Student Princes. She was third on the team with 12.4 points per game and collected 2.3 rebounds per contest. This season, Riley took home conference player of the week honors on two occasions, including once for a record-breaking performance at home to Muskingum. Riley poured in 31 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including nine 3-pointers. Her nine 3-balls broke the Heidelberg record and tied the OAC mark for most threes in a single game.
Crawford, a junior from Willard, Ohio, also started all 25 contests for the Tricolor. She paced the team in scoring with 12.9 ppg and led the conference in two categories -- rebounds per game and total blocks. The 5-9 post player managed to haul in 11.4 boards per game. In addition to her efforts on the glass, Crawford became a dominant rim protector as she swatted away 60 blocks on the season.
Additionally, Crawford collected 16 double-doubles on the season en route to being the only conference play to average a double-double on the season.
