Women's golf sixth at OAC, Hodge receives honor

COLUMBIA STATION, Ohio – The Heidelberg University women's golf team fired a team score of 807 over the two-day Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Championships at Columbia Hills Country Club, to earn sixth.

Freshman Lia Hodge led the Student Princes with a two-round total of 189 (95-94). Hodge was the only 'Berg female to stay under the century mark both days of competition.

Freshman Natalie Durtschi carded a 103 on Saturday followed by an even 100 on Sunday for a 203. Sophomore Shelby Dearth finished with the third best round for the Student Princes as she shot a 207 (111-96).

Freshman Kerianne Murphy and senior Rachel Huth recorded a two-round total of 208 and 225 respectively to round out the Student Princes.

Following the competition, Hodge was named to Second Team All-OAC.
