POWELL - The Heidelberg University women's golf team took to the course for their second tournament of the season, this time at the Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational at the Safari Golf Club in Powell, Ohio.  As a team, the Student Princes finished 8th at the two-day event.

Kerianne Murphy rebounded from a 97 on the first round to take seven strokes off of that to shoot a 90 on day two and finish tied for 40th place overall.

Tiffany Bates and Erin McGinty rounded out the scoring for Heidelberg, finishing with two-day totals of 199 and 203, both improving their score from day one to day two.

The Student Princes will be back on the course next weekend, September 20th and 21st, for the two-day John Carroll Invitational.  That event will take place at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Norwalk, Ohio.
