WGOLF: Women compete at Wooster

JEROMESVILLE, Ohio -- While most of the golf world was fixated on Tiger Woods and The Masters, the Heidelberg University women's golf team took to Mohican Hills Golf Club to compete in the Wooster Spring Invitational.  Shorthanded, the squad did not finish in the team standings.  

Morgan Fultz led the way for HU with a 90-97--187, 55th overall in the 14-team tournament.  Megan Brugnone shot a 107-102--209 over the course of the weekend.  Anastasia Lindemann carded a 111-103--214.  

Autumn Simpson shot an 89 in the first round but was unable to finish in round two.  

Denison University won the team title, led by medalist Emmy Timberlake.  

The Student Princes return to action at the OAC Championships, April 26-28.
