AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Freshman Jessica Ballow has been named Honorable Mention All-OAC, as announced on Thursday. The goalie becomes the first ever player in Heidelberg women's lacrosse history to receive all-conference accolades.
Starting all 15 games in goal, Ballow posted a 6-9 record for a vastly improved Student Prince team, who went winless a season ago. Logging 782:20 minutes between the pipes, the freshman tallied 112 saves.
With a GAA of 11.66 and a 42.4 save percentage, Ballow ranked fourth in the OAC in both statistics.
The program experienced a wealth of firsts this season, including first win, first road win, and first conference victory.
