TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University women's lacrosse team kept their winning streak going with a resounding 17-2 win over a shorthanded Olivet College on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Student Princes -- winners of three in a row -- jumped above .500 for the first time this season and improved their record to 4-3. Olivet fell to 0-3 on the season.
Angela Lulejian once again paced the scoring for Heidelberg with five goals, while Bri Casement netted her first career multi-goal game with a second half hat-trick. Anna Winnicki, Jenna Carman, Emmy Flottman-Mullen, and Jen Kovarik each added two. Naomi Smith also found the cage for her first career goal.
Carman, Flottman-Mullen, Smith, Casement and Winnicki each picked up assists on the night.
The Student Princes eased through the first half scoring the game's first nine goals before Sabrina Butler got one back for the visitors.
Again, the Berg got out of the gates on a high note in the second half scoring the first five before Alyssa Miller put one on the board for Olivet.
Heidelberg then capped the game with the final three tallies to seal the final score.
Mandi Phillips earned her third win of the season stopping four shots.
The game was the fourth time this season Heidelberg has scored 17 or more goals in a game setting a new program season-high for the feat.
The Student Princes will hit the road and travel to start-up program, Marietta College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. start time. The game marks their conference opener.
