AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Sofey Fugate has been named honorable mention All-OAC, as announced by the conference on Thursday. The senior ends her career by being named to the all-conference team in each of her four years at Heidelberg, earning 2nd team honors each of her first three years as a Student Prince.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native, who is also a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree, led Heidelberg at first singles throughout the season. She finished the year with an 8-7 record in singles play, including a 3-5 mark in Ohio Athletic Conference action.

In doubles play, Fugate teamed up with Nicole Millar at first doubles to post a 9-7 record, including a 4-4 mark in the OAC.

The Heidelberg women's tennis team ended the 2015-16 season with a 6-10 record, falling in the quarterfinals of the OAC tournament to end their campaign.
