WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Madison Haasz set a new school record in the shot put to lead the Heidelberg University track & field teams at the All-Ohio Championships in Westerville. Her throw of 43'10.5'' broke the old record of 43'4.75'' that Haasz also held and set a year ago. She finished third in that event, winning the weight throw to pace the women's team to a 9th place finish.
On the men's side, Gage Falcone led the way with a second-place finish in the weight throw as the team placed 14th.
WOMEN 400 METER DASH
Junior Taylor Dillon finished the race in sixth place, earning three points for the team in a time of 1:090.79.
WOMEN 3000 METER RUN
Dani Blum was the best finisher of any OAC competitor in the race, coming in third place with a time of 10:30.10.

WOMEN SHOT PUT
Despite setting the new school indoor record with a throw of 43'10.5'', Haasz came up just short of winning, coming in third place.
WOMEN WEIGHT THROW
Haasz followed up her performance in the shot put with a winning throw of 52'08.75'' in the weight throw to claim Heidelberg's only event win of the day.

Falcone was the top placer for the men in the meet, finishing in second place with a throw of 58'6.75''.
The Heidelberg track teams will travel to Bexley next Saturday, February 21st, to participate in the Capital Last Call.
