HANOVER, Indiana – The Heidelberg University track & field teams had a strong showing at the Hanover Invitational on Saturday. The women's team finished third and the men's team took fourth. Here's a look at Heidelberg's top 5 finishes.

Women 200 Meter Dash: Taylor Dillon was fourth in the 200, clocking a 27.73.

Women 400 Meter Run: In the 400, Dillon was second with a 1:00.88. Baylee Garrett was fourth with a time of 1:01.17, her PR.

Women 1500 Meter Run: Rachel House was the runner-up in the 1500. She had a time of 4:57.85, her PR.

Women 5000 Meter Run: Freshman Amanda Elkins was fifth in the 5k with a time of 20:08.08

Women 3000 Meter Steeplechase: Dani Blum (12:12.12) was third and Alexandra Dutton (12:35.95) in the steeple.

Women 4x400 Meter Relay: Michaela SloneMcKenzie Biniker, Dillon and Garrett combined for a 4:22.11 and won the 4x4.

Women High Jump: Olivia Hipp cleared 1.59m on her first attempt and won the high jump. Garrett was fourth, clearing 1.54m, tying her PR.

Women Shot Put: Madison Haasz was second in the shot with a mark of 12.90m. Her best throw came on her final attempt.

Women Hammer Throw: Haasz was the top collegiate finisher in the hammer. She had a 51.44 throw on her third attempt.

Women Javelin Throw: Haasz won the javelin with a throw of 34.20m on her first attempt.

Men 400 Meter Run: Jerrod Lyon was third in the 400 with a time of 50.42. He was just ahead of teammate Devaun Churchya, who was fifth with a 50.88.

Men 800 Meter Run: Tim Faiken was fifth in the 800, clocking a 2:02.63

Men 1500 Meter Run: Dylan Dombi was second and Eric Peterson was fourth in the 1500. Dombi had a 4:04.76 and Peterson had a 4:12.77.

Men 400 Meter Hurdles: Kenny Beucler was third in the 400 hurdles with a time of 58.79. Ren Boehler was fifth with a 59.25.

Men 3000 Meter Steeplechase: Isaac Kuntz (10:07.75) splashed his way to a resounding 27-second victory in the steeple.

Men 4x400 Meter Relay: Churchya, Avery GatchellJacob Berryman and Faiken were fourth in the 4x4 with a 3:35.29.

Men High Jump: Freshman Wes Fritz took home top honors in the high jump. He cleared 1.98m in his last attempt. Michael Bennett was fifth, clearing 1.83m.

Men Long Jump: Lyon was third in the long jump. His best mark, 6.27m, came on his first attempt.

Men Hammer Throw: Tristen Durr was the third collegiate finisher in the hammer, sixth overall. His best mark was 47.01m.
