No stranger to competing on the national stage, Heidelberg University track & field runner Rachel House has qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May 24-26 at the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  In her first-ever 10K, House ran a 36:03.10.  She qualified 19th in the nation and becomes Heidelberg's first national qualifier in the 10,000m event.

House has competed twice at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, in 2014 & 2017.

The Mechanicsburg native is one of six Student Princes to earn Div. III United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association honors.

House (10,000m) is joined by Kenny Beucler (400m hurdles), Wes Fritz (high jump), Ben Gutzky (hammer), Sarah Hunter (400m) and Allison Schwarzbek (400m hurdles).

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the region's top three relay teams.
