LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the second consecutive season, Sarah Parker is an All-American. The junior earned AVCA All-America honorable mention honors for the second time in her career, becoming the fifth Student Prince to receive multiple All-American nods in their time at the Berg. The accolade adds on to her list of postseason awards, as Parker was first team All-Great Lakes Region and was named OAC Player of the Year.
Parker wrapped up her 2015 season with 463 kills, which is the fourth-most in a single season in Heidelberg volleyball history. Her 3.83 kills per set ranks 7th in the record books while her hitting percentage of .329 is the 7th-best in school history as well. Parker led the Ohio Athletic Conference in each of those statistical categories while also ranking fourth in total blocks with 94.
She has racked up 1,269 kills over the course of her three years at Heidelberg and already ranks 4th in school history with one season remaining.
Parker helped lead the Heidelberg volleyball team to the OAC regular-season and tournament championship as they finished the year with a 27-7 record. The Student Princes made their seventh appearance in the NCAA Tournament in school history and advanced to the regional semifinal for the fifth time.
