CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Behind a third-place finish by  Rachel House, the Heidelberg University women's cross country team finished 11th in Division III at the All-Ohio Championships.

"I am very impressed with the way our women came out and raced today," said head coach Brian Grime. "They were very competitive … and for a tam that is still working back to full strength, I'm excited about the direction we are heading."

House's 22:38 was her best 6k of the season.  Behind her, Amanda Elkins was 48th with a 24:22 and Miranda Shaffer was 68th with a 24:54.

Alexandra Chakov (26:42, 102nd) and Taylor Rodriguez (27:56, 108th) rounded out the scorers for Heidelberg.

"Some of our girls ran today as a workout," said Grime. "We are hoping to be at full strength in two weeks in Wisconsin."

The women's team will travel to the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on October 14th.
